Type A

Type A:
Can’t you feel
Something coming up inside
Of you and I
We can recognise its type
Don’t turn around
Cause what your looking for has been found
Any now you’re up
You find it hard to come back down
Standing on a cliff face
Hoping I don’t misplace
My way home to you
Dancing on a chess board
Looking for the front door
To get home to you
Lost upon the freeway
Looking for some leeway
Cause it’s all come true
Standing on a cliff face
Hoping I don’t misplace
My way home to you
Can’t you feel
Something coming up inside
Of you and I
We can recognise its type (we can recognise it’s type)
Don’t turn around
Cause what your looking for has been found
Any now you’re up
You find it hard to come back down
Standing on a cliff face
Hoping I don’t misplace
My way home to you
Time is of the notion
Everybody’s spoken
Every word is true
Lost upon the freeway
Looking for some leeway
Cause it’s all come true
Standing on a cliff face
Hoping I don’t displace
My way home to you

Brink of a Breakdown

Brink of a Breakdown
On the brink of a breakdown
On the verge of a breakthrough
On the brink of a breakdown
On the verge of a dream come true
On the edge of a takedown
Hoping something will get us through
In the middle of a breakout
And I know what I got to do
Whatever Happens in Life is Meant to Be
Waiting for the right moment to release me
A truth that hurts to make you free
Waiting for the Right Moment to believe
Whatever happens in life

Four Minus 4

4 MINUS FOUR
My welcome arms,
The nights that they can hide,
So baby come inside,
Your eyes are looking tired.
Tonight the air,
It isn't made for you,
And just like the wind I don’t,
I don’t just want you passing through.
Cause it’s not too late,
To say, that you think that this might have been more,
You don’t need to hesitate,
You’re welcome, at my front door.
Like passing ships in our own bottles,
It was impossible to stay,
The cities walls keep us departed,
And why we met, is hard to say.
Cause it’s not too late,
To say, that you think that this might have been more,
You don’t need to hesitate,
You’re welcome, at my front door.
My welcome arms,
The nights that they can hide,

Beautiful Mess

WE’RE A BEAUTIFUL MESS
You’re the salt in my eyes
How can I, disguise my tears
You’re the blood in my veins
That gives me, courage from fears
You’re the lump in my throat
You know, next what I’ll say
You’re the stead in my hand
That takes my, trembling away
You’re the sweat on my brow
That, cools me down
You’re the log on my fire
That turns, winter around
You’re the skip in my step
And the, drag of my feet
You’re the crease in my frown
And the, pulse to my beat
We’re a beautiful mess
Smack bang in the thick of this
We’re a beautiful mess
Gasping for air but we just get less
We’re a beautiful mess
But you take care of it…….for me
You’re the hand on my back
that pushes, me along
You’re the welcome I need
when I, don't belong
You’re the thorn in my side,
and the, flame to my torch
You’re the old rocking chair
That, creaks on my porch

Do You See Me

Do You See Me
I took you a picture
That I snapped from outer space
It shows the world sleeping
With a smile on every face
I want you to frame it
And hang it in your pride of place
To show that your serious
And not let it go to waste
There's too many authors
And not a bad word in-between
We’re in between both worlds
And we're moving at light speed
Forget what they told you
So many ways to read the signs
I promised you an autograph
So you wouldn't have to stand in line
It was too close It was too close It was too close for comfort
Do you see what i see Do you see me Do you see me at all
They’re having a party
And everyone has come
They’re toasting their victory
Thinking that the war was won
But you and I know different
The battle still rages on
And we're counting the casualties
In case they get it wrong
